Remember this little guy?  Well, this time I had the pleasure of photographing the whole beautiful family!  Wasn’t it just a short while ago that this little man turned one and celebrated by happily smashing a big blue cupcake?!  Why in the world does he look so much older to me in these photographs?  Mom said she just thinks that he did get older looking and that he isn’t her little baby anymore…that makes me so sad!  That is just one reason why I think it is so important to document each stage in your child’s life, because they are gone too fast!  Aren’t these girls dolls, too?  Dad, you better get ready!!  What a great session with absolutely wonderful people.  Thanks so much!

holiday card sneakie peekie #1

If you book a Holiday Mini Session, both packages come with 24 holiday cards–here is just one of your choices.  Way cute, right?  Heather from Peapod Announcements designed the template –I love her!  Before I started doing my own cards, I used her to create Jack’s birth announcement, his Christening announcement and his First Birthday invitation…yep, I love her a lot!  So, it was only natural that I use her fab-u templates for this year’s holiday card choices.  Oh, and FYI–she has the cutest Halloween cards!

Each card is press printed on your choice of pearl or linen paper and include a front and a back.   The pearl has a gorgeous sheen to it, and a more modern look, while the linen is beautifully textured and gives a classic feel to your cards.  Up to three revisions are included–I can change photographs, make them black and white, change the wording, etc.  People will be talking about your holiday cards for years to come!

Even if you are not doing a mini session, all past clients that have had a session with me can order holiday cards through me, too! Yay!

How much do you just want to squeeze this little cutie pie?!  I absolutely adore this stage when they sit so sweetly and just gaze at the camera.  This little girl was such a ham for the camera, and the camera loved her!  Thanks so much for a wonderful session!  I can’t wait for you to see the rest! :)

These two cuties were so full of energy!  I just loved how they warmed up to me and then ran, jumped, explored and played–just how I love sessions with children to be.   What a bond these two already have, too.   It is wonderful to watch how they interact with one another–how fun to have a playmate to have this much fun with!  I guess it is because I now have two of my own, but I just love watching sibling relationships at work.  :)   Thanks for a fun session, it was wonderful to meet you!

*The package/session fee is due at the time of booking to reserve your mini session spot. This fee is non-refundable, but can be applied to a full session (less $100 if 48 hours notice is not given) in the future should you be unable to attend for any reason.

*Prices include the session fee, prints/products as mentioned in pricing, and design fees, with up to 3 revisions for cards.

I have known this little dude since he was a year old, and I just cannot believe that he is turning three!  He is one of Jack’s best friends, and C’s birthday marks the beginning of the birthday’s for their little group of friends.  It means that Jack’s is not too far behind, and it just amazes me how time has flown by.  He is an amazing little man–full of energy, intelligent and funny.  I am so happy that I got to capture his playfulness and his love for his mom and dinosaurs.  Happy birthday, baby C!!

lizards and cactus (phoenix family photographer)

This lovely family is from Canada and just recently bought a vacation home here in Arizona, so I had the pleasure of meeting them and photographing them.  It was so refreshing to see how much they love the mountains and the nature and plants of the desert.  These two brothers really seem like they have a special bond, and I loved to see them interact with one another.  Aren’t they both such cuties?  All three boys–both sons and dad–were happily chasing a lizard when our session ended.  Ah, the simple pleasures in life!  Thanks for a great session…I hope you are finding some respite from this heat now that you are back home.  Happy birthday and good luck with school, B!  Feel free to bring us some cool weather the next time you come down! :)
