1.  Having previously been a Spanish teacher, I am forever asking my kiddos for besos (kisses in Spanish) or smothering them with tons.  Addison has always understood what besos are, but just this week she has started asking not for kisses but for “besos”.  When I saw these mini notecards, I knew I had to have them.  Perfect for writing little notes to Jack to include in his lunch…

2.  Did anyone ever watch the television series LOST?  Wait, don’t tell me!!!  I can honestly say that I never, ever had a desire to watch it when it was actually on.  No interest and I didn’t even watch a single episode.  For Christmas, I got my hubby the Season 1 DVD of LOST so we could start watching a new series together.  We just started Season 4 and we are HOOKED.  Whoa.  I honestly do not know how people did it–waiting week to week (let alone season to season!!) to see what would happen next.  It is seriously beyond me.  After each episode, we look at each other and both say, “One more?!”  The writers for that show are brilliant.  Please, please don’t spill the beans if you watched it all the way through.  I know nothing about how it ends or each season and I SO want to keep it that way.

3.  Speaking of watching LOST, we have discovered streaming Netflix through our Wii.  Um, why did I buy Seasons 1 and 2?!  I had been wanting to do it for awhile, but when we realized that we had just watched the Season 2 finale, that it was ten at night and we didn’t have Season 3, we sure as heck figured it out! 

4.  I came across this recipe the other day for Walking Tacos.  Don’t they look awesome?  So much fun! I must try…too bad football season is over, it would have been a perfect gameday food.

7.  Our sweet Addie turns two this week and I just can’t believe it.  We are going to have a “bookday” party for her since she just loves books so much.  I discovered this wonderful project that I knew I was meant to find. The Joyful Life Library honors the life of a little boy named Samuel by donating books to the Cardon Children’s Medical Center at Banner Desert, where Addie was born.  I didn’t know it was right here when I found the website–it was just one more of those things that shows me it wasn’t an accident that I found it.  We’re hoping guests will like to bring a book to donate.

8.  St. Patrick’s Day is coming soon.  What do you do for it?  Any special crafts?  I recently came upon these cupcakes that I just have to try with the kids.Lucky charm cupcakes!

9.  Addie turning two has me sentimental.  I would love to do this with her shoes.  Isn’t it too precious?
