Laura Winslow Photography {phoenix's modern photographer} bio picture
  • Welcome! I'm Laura--an excessive-user of smiley faces, lover of coffee + new adventures, and forever a dreamer. I once helped fly a plane over Paris, have more than a slight obsession with fun + colorful pillows, love the feeling of cool sand in between my toes + the laughter of my children. My life experiences are varied + humorous, and I would love to capture both the big + little moments of YOUR life! My work has been featured in Babytalk magazine, HGTV.com, Professional Photographer, Rangefinder, Digital Photo Pro {MpixPro Ads}, Child Style Magazine, 202 Magazine, Celebrate Magazine and, perhaps the most important place--in the hearts, walls + homes of my fabulous clients!

I am currently booking for JULY 2012 + beyond throughout the Scottsdale, Phoenix + East Valley.

“A picture is the expression of an impression. If the beautiful were not in us, how would we ever recognize it?”

Want more {wall art wednesday} fabulosity? Check it right here loves!

Eclectic, fab + fun. Loving the cohesiveness of the white frames, but the uniqueness of them all. The unframed prints and colorful plates add interest.  Oh, and I HUGE puffy heart those letters resting on the bench and the fact that they say “Eggs, Toast + Jam”!

More loveliness from Ashley Ann Photography’s blog.  Check out Marie Darby’s guest post on Ashley’s blog to read her tutorial on creating this awesome photograph lamp. Love!

Here is another fun photo lamp showing the use of one image rather than several.

Ooh, looove these colors and the use of the frame around the television. Place initials or photos in the frames surrounding it and you have an interesting display that works with your television!

Storyboards are a lovely idea to feature a great number of images on your walls in a fresh way.  I would encourage you to go even bigger than this! Have it printed on a canvas or standout mount to further add to that “wow!” factor.

This arrangement of nine square photographs just never gets old for me.

I have it in my home, and I love this take on it using the simple IKEA glass “frames”.  What a beautiful display.  Make sure to ask your photographer for suggestions on what images might look best grouped together based on where you are going to display them. We have lots of ideas!

Shawna Burkhardt - I LOVE the 9 square photos! What size are those? That would look amazing on my stairways :)

Laura Winslow Photography - Hi Shawna! I believe they are 12×12, but if someone knows for sure feel free to correct me. :)

Laura Winslow Photography - Or 20×20? I am thinking the frames I have are 20×20 and fit a 12×12…:)

Lisa @ Snappy Gourmet - Beautiful ideas!
