“Breath in inspiration and trust yourself. The answer is yes you can.”
1. Last week was project organization in the Winslow household. My hubby was off on vacation and we actually really looked forward to getting some things in order. We ticked quite a bit off our list, the garage being number one on that list. I seriously have gone crazy with the label maker–someone stop me! Nothing is safe!![]()
2. We took the kiddos to see the new Winnie the Pooh movie–so sweet! Although I was a bit disappointed that Pooh didn’t ever say, “How about a small smackerel of something” in the movie, he said enough other cute things to make me get over it.
I just love Pooh (a.a. milne) quotes. The kids loved it, too. When I told Addie we were going to see Pooh, she asked, “Tigger be there, too?”
3. Lots of newborns this month! Simply adorable! I am so lucky to be able to snuggle all these little newbies!
4. The hubs and I went on a date night this past weekend and had a blast! We started out at the Diamondbacks v. Dodgers game, then we walked over to The Arrogant Butcher for dinner.
{amazing mural + branding by the fabulous and local Tunnel Bravo–check them out! Awesome!!}
LOVE this place! So yummy + the concept is just soo fun! I can’t decide if I like The Arrogant Butcher or Culinary Dropout (owned by the same restaurant group) more! Warm Peanut Butter cup with Chocolate Gelato for dessert?! WOWIE!
5. We ended the evening by heading to Lucky Strike. FUN! Things like that always get me thinking–what are successful business concepts? Often things that have been wildly popular with everyone for quite some time, but with a new twist added. Bowling with all your friends while dining by candlelight on yum food? Add in a bar, pool tables, one amazing dj and a club atmosphere and you have a completely unique way to have fun!
6. Okay, so I am just slightly addicted to the Pocketbooth iPhone app. Seriously, how flippin’ fun is it?! A photobooth in my pocket!
You must try it!
7. We’re headed to Florida in a few weeks–yay! The beach, the grandparents, my sis (Auntie Alex!) + just lazy, fun summer days. Can’t wait!![]()
8. Did you ever read this blog? I remember reading it when I was pregnant with Addie–around the same time this photographer’s wife was pregnant. He documented the beauty of their journey with images and humorous and often touching words each week of her pregnancy. That part is old, so you might have read it, but I just recently revisited it. It was fun to see that their daughter is now two and he is still an amazing photographer. I just love re-discovering new gems like that.![]()
9. I seriously almost wish Addie would sit in a booster seat again just so I could get one of these. A booster seat–how cute!
10. I want to make this cake batter yogurt dip. How much would the kids LOVE to dunk their little animal crackers in THIS? That is all.![]()
