Laura Winslow Photography {phoenix's modern photographer} bio picture
  • Welcome! I'm Laura--an excessive-user of smiley faces, lover of coffee + new adventures, and forever a dreamer. I once helped fly a plane over Paris, have more than a slight obsession with fun + colorful pillows, love the feeling of cool sand in between my toes + the laughter of my children. My life experiences are varied + humorous, and I would love to capture both the big + little moments of YOUR life! My work has been featured in Babytalk magazine, HGTV.com, Professional Photographer, Rangefinder, Digital Photo Pro {MpixPro Ads}, Child Style Magazine, 202 Magazine, Celebrate Magazine and, perhaps the most important place--in the hearts, walls + homes of my fabulous clients!

I am currently booking for JULY 2012 + beyond throughout the Scottsdale, Phoenix + East Valley.

Welcome to Wall Art Wednesday, friend! Lots more right here!

The sweet Shawna of styleberry photo (a completely FUN blog!) designed and created this rockin’ wall display for her playroom. I fell in love the instant I saw it.  A chalkboard wall below and shelving for lots of cherished images up top create a beautiful and practical display! Shawna, having built the shelves herself for about $20, says “their is no excuse for why photogs (or anyone!) can’t have a gallery wall on a budget”.  Fab-U-LOUS! Don’t you agree? Read more about this wall display and how Shawna made it in her blog post here.

Sometimes you have a space that just needs the simplicity of a single image.  The fabulous aqua dresser is the perfect piece of furniture to showcase this beautiful canvas.  Don’t always feel like you have to have a grouping of images (although they look amazing!)–if you have a smaller space but still want to go big, sometimes one is the key!

For the vintage lover in you, this old window, accented with fabric and bunting, would be a perfect canvas to tuck in photographs and mementos.

Simple, clean, monochromatic–beautiful!  Don’t forget to add in subtle pops of color, as they have done here with the green bottles.
