There is just something about watermelon in summertime. Juicy and sweet, much like childhood. I have photographed this little sweetie several times now, and it just keeps getting more fun. Mama always decks her out in the cutest little outfits, and her personality is simply precious. One of the dresses was made by her grandmother, and I love the vintage feel that it had to it–perfect with the chair and the hazy summer light.

I love the oblivious and perfect way that little miss ate the watermelon–so full of gusto, not a care in the world that it dripped everywhere.

We should all be that full of life…
