Casey Midgley - For entry 8, sounds silly, but the first snow of the season is what makes it magic (warm fuzzies) for me. No matter the time, I wake each child, take them out to feel the snow. Being from California and now living in the midwest where snow is the norm and considered a pain instead of precious, I want my kids to feel magic when it snows. And they do. My seven year old son now claps his 4 year old brother and two year old sister’s hands tight and says, “Just look, each one is different, never the same and we were here to see it”. Can’t buy that.

Of course, this holiday everything gives me the warm fuzzies since I’m pregnant…okay more like tears as I cry at every holiday commercial, movie, and tv show!!

Karrie Douglas - Entry #8: Growing up we always picked a family that needed a helping hand and did the 12 days of Christmas for them. So for 12 days leading up to Christmas we would do something for them every day that had to do with that day’s number (ie:1 christmas tree delivered to them). It was always anonymous (although I’m sure sometimes they had a good idea!!) It taught us the gift of giving and helping others. I think on this and it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside! I can’t wait till our son is old enough to understand this wonderful gift of giving to others, as we do this every year now that I have a family of my own.

Ariana - One thing that makes me all warm and fuzzy about the holidays is CHRISTMAS LIGHTS! There is just something so magical about them; I have been mesmerized ever since I was a little kid.
