~~~~~
The holiday season will be here before you know it, and now  (yep, NOW!) is the time to begin thinking of not only Holiday Card offerings for your clients to choose from, but also how you will go about sending well-wishes of merriment and cheer to your clients for a fun year! For several years now, I have used this rockin’ card template from Photographer Cafe for my client card. It.is.awesome. I love that it is a trifold and that I can fit so many images of my clients in them (both front and back!). Wouldn’t YOU love to see an image of your own child or your family on your photographer’s holiday card? I also really enjoy creating the card as it allows me to look back on the smiling faces I have had the blessing of photographing throughout the year. Believe me, I SEARCHED before I found the perfect one. Very few template shops offer something like this, and I have had great feedback each year!  Oh, and a sweet little treat with a logo sticker never hurts, either!
Note: The card templates come in several different styles (like Boutique, Fleur, Dreamy, Gallery + more) AND they come with varying sizes and openings, so if you take limited sessions and have a small number of clients, or if you have many more, there is a perfect one for every biz! Have a ton of clients and can’t fit them all on their largest? I would suggest creating several versions of the card!)
LOVE this! Create a marketing piece that will be included in client orders that gives them a little something as a thank you–a discount on a future session is perfect!
These tags would be so very easy to make–buy card stock, spray paint it with chalkboard paint (they even have it in tons of fun colors now! I just recently used turquoise myself!!) and use a punch to cut the paper into any shape you wish.  Hole punch the top, place ribbon through it and you have the perfect custom tag ready to be written on! Worried about chalk coming off? Have you SEEN the lovely chalk-paint pens? They don’t smudge and come in lots of fun colors!
Maybe I got sidetracked with the fun, modern lines, or the cute font or the color scheme…or the fact that it is early and I need coffee…choose one or all of the above, the bottom line is that this branding definitely is cohesive and eye-catching. Don’t you want that for your brand?
Little bags, a sweet treat, some washi tape + a thank you sticker goes a long way to make a great impression. Consider making up a batch of little somethings like this so you always have one on hand to include with client orders.
