It is indeed impossible to reproduce the little moments that make up a life. It is only through memory and photography that they might live on…I adore these seemingly everyday moments that paint the canvas of my memories. Addie and I set out on a joint photography jaunt one evening as the sun was setting, Canon in my hand + toy wooden camera from Twig in hers. She quite liked photographing the odd rock…oh, and what we thought was a rock but turned out to be something that was stinky and oh-so-hilarious to this three year old. Let’s just say that there are a lot of dogs and horses that come through that area, and we’ll leave it at that. Hehe!

Moments this mommy loved: peals of laughter through the night air, stories of bunnies, hoping to find a dog, holding her “camera” up in the air and to the side just like I do, showing me her “shots” in the back of her camera and even turning the dial with her thumb to show them all to me, exploring and wandering, mommy-daughter chats that I will always hold close.

She adored this comfortable and darling dress + leggings from My Little Jules. The leggings were of the softest material–I want to order more AND some in my size!! I smiled as Addie placed her small hands in the sweet little pockets on each side of the dress. Perfect for keeping the little found treasures of a child… The boots are simply out of this world, too, aren’t they? Couldn’t you just squeal with delight over their adorableness (yep, it’s a word!!)?!
