Recently, the sweet Kim of the wonderful TomKat Studio and I had the opportunity to work on some fabulous projects for the HGTV website. I always love working with the talented Kim + photographing her amazing party styling!

Kim created nine party set-ups for the website–four girl parties, four boy parties and one romantic and chic engagement dessert table.  We will be sharing them little by little, but for now we are excited to share the gorgeous Engagement Dessert table and all of its lovely details.  You can visit HGTV.com and view a slideshow of these images and more here. Don’t you just want to get married all over again?!  These designs are just perfect for not only engagement parties but children’s parties, showers and anyone that has a modern sense of style. I am in LOVE with the designs {available in The TomKat Studio shop soon!} and clean, crisp look of it all.  Such a FUN day we had!  Doesn’t Kim rock?! This wedding rocked.  I just loved every little detail!  These two beautiful souls were wed on a beautiful June day in Thousand Oaks, California, surrounded by their loving family and friends.  It was a day filled with smiles, joy and much laughter, and it was just so perfect.

There are still so many sneak peeks to come–bed jumping, groomsmen, In N Out + photobooth fun!!  I just wanted to put these few out there before we left town.  Enjoy!!  More will be up next week!

Such a beautiful wedding and a gorgeous couple.  I cannot wait to post a full sneak peek (today or tomorrow!).  There are just so many special and gorgeous moments to this weekend’s wedding.  A sampling: bed-jumping, giggling with BFFs, tears of joy, sunflare as vows are being said, In N Out, a vintage red bike + crazy well-wishers striking poses for the photo booth!  Can’t wait…can you?    Stay tuned…

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a commercial shoot for Cake Hole Project.  Um, who doesn’t loooove cupcakes?!  We had gorgeous models, fab suspended cupcake holders and CUPCAKES!  Yay!

Okay, so I just NEED to find an excuse to have one of these babies designed.  Amazing!  Are you a fun bride-to-be looking for something that will cause your guests to talk about your reception for years to come?  Hosting a baby shower and want a wow-za centerpiece?  Planning your child’s birthday party?

My dear friends Vicki and Ray worked together to design this unique cupcake holder–it is suspended from the ceiling!  I had to share it with you because they design each holder custom to YOU!  That means no one will be exactly the same and you can work with them to create exactly what you want.  They make quite a team–Vicki is an architect and designs the holders and Ray builds them.  Seriously, I could never do that.  They have some serious talent, don’t you think?

These two cuties will be getting married next year and are obviously so in love.  They are so fun and easy-going.  Thanks so much for walking all over with me to find those great spots!  It was fun and you two are naturals in front of the camera.  Have a great trip up north–I sure hope it snows for you like you are hoping for!  Feel free to bring some cooler weather back down to Arizona…:)

Man, I always have the most gorgeous clients!  Can’t you already imagine the eyes on the children these two will one day have?  Amazing.   This lovely couple will be getting married in Utah this December–what a wonderful time of year!  They are such interesting people, and I enjoyed getting to know them.  Meredith is an administrator at a junior high school–it brought me back to my teaching days and reminded me of all those great students I taught.  Bryce is a Mississippi boy and has the cutest southern drawl.  I know these two  have a lifetime of happiness and beautiful memories ahead of them.  Thanks for such a fun session, you two!

This couple was sooo fun to work with.  They have such a fun personality, and I had a blast at this incredible location.  These two sweeties will be getting married next year, and I can’t wait to photograph them on their wedding day.    How much fun will that be?!  Hopefully then I can photograph them with their furbaby, who they left behind in California for the weekend.  I am so happy to have documented the love that you two have for one another at this special time in your lives–you are awesome!  Thanks!!
