I created this comparison chart using the Photographer’s Wall Display Guides (awesome for showing clients how a display will look on their wall with their own images!) to better illustrate to my clients the power of going BIG! Smaller prints are lovely and certainly have their place, but unless you truly see what each size looks like, you might continue to view an 11×14 as large. If you want a single image on a wall and wish to make a statement, larger is better.  Choosing too small of a print or canvas for a large wall often makes people regret not going larger. Do it right from the beginning and treasure that wall and your piece of art forever!

The sweet Tanya sent in these images of her recently created wall display for her daughter, inspired by past Wall Art Wednesday walls! Yay! I adore the bright, colorful frames, the adorable photographs and the sweet word art (I even spy one of mine in there!)

Don’t be afraid to mix in frames that aren’t filled on  your wall display. It adds a beautiful negative space that is pleasing to the eye and allows for concentration on your whole wall.

I love the idea of finding cute pencils like these (from the Target Dollar Bin!!) and adding them to your packaging for your clients. I mean, really, they ARE just pencils but who doesn’t love a pretty little pencil?!

Don’t be afraid to start with a simple brown kraft paper (HINT: I buy a HUGE and cheap roll of kraft paper from Home Depot and I use it for so many things–tablecloths at parties so the kids can draw on it, craft projects at home, wrapping paper…LOVE IT.  I believe it is in the paint section).  Embellish to fit your style and you can either go modern or vintage depending on your styling!

I adore business cards that stand out, and this is certainly one of them.  Some might think it silly to waste money on business cards, but I beg to differ.
