Amazingness. Not a word, I know, but when I think of this weekend’s Alice in Wonderland shoot, I just think to myself…amazingness. Yep. 
The past month was spent planning and organizing and dreaming of this shoot, and it was simply awesome to see it all come together. So many incredibly talented designers and creative women were involved in this endeavor, and I want to thank each and every one of them. I know you will love checking out their websites and blogs to learn more and to see more of their fabulous talent.
The tablescape was styled by the ultra-talented Kim of The TomKat Studio. She did such an amazing job, don’t you think? She turned this dream tea party into a reality!!!

I first met this darling little girl and her wonderful parents when she was six months old and just beginning to crawl. I instantly was endeared to her sweet smile, her pouty lips and amazing eyes. Her mom, Vicki, and I became fast friends.
This wonderful little girl is so full of life and spirit, and I feel honored to have the opportunity to photograph her again now at a year old. This stunning location made my heart skip a beat and had me clicking the shutter the entire time. At a year, this sweetie has adorable, wispy curls, the same blue eyes that you can get lost in, a self-confidence to be jealous of, and the beginnings of a Spanish vocabulary. We had a great time–we only had to resort to bribery once or twice. I’m not so sure how well our currency worked, though…who uses ice to bribe a child on a 90 degree day in Arizona? Thanks for a wonderful session! Enjoy your sneak peeks…
We had oh-so-much fun this weekend at the photo shoot for Finley + Oliver’s newest collection. Six kiddos under the age of five, an uber-fab location (check out the chicken and those huge grapefruits!!!) and fun clothing made for an amazing morning. Our {mod babe} contest winners were absolute naturals in front of the camera and I just wanted to squeeze them both they were just that cute!! They both have the most stunning eyes, don’t you think? I adore the newest tees and girl’s tunics from Finley and Oliver–they are so comfy and perfect for your little one to play around in or for a photo shoot. They are so versatile. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful morning–more sneakie peekies to come!

So, it’s no secret that I adore all that designer Stephanie of Ivy and A creates. I must share some of my shoots that I have had the pleasure of photographing with my clients wearing her ahhhh-mazing clothing. How happy would I be if your kiddo showed up in one of these outfits?! Happy, I tell you! Stephanie just has a knack for pairing uber-cool fabrics with one another in the most adorable boutique designs. Her style really lends itself well to style of photography, too. Bright pops of colors, fresh style and contemporary textiles. I swoon each time I see a new design, seriously. Her outfits are so fun to accessorize and the possibilities for your session are endless! Don’t you just want to smile just looking at all these sweeties having fun?

Oh, how I love this little sweetie. I first met her when I photographed her as a newborn, then when she was around 4 months old, and now at nine months. I LOVE my job, and I ADORE my clients! How absolutely amazing to be able to watch this little princess grow right before my eyes! She is such a treasure and was a wonderful little model. T, I got that adorable little nose scrunch she does on camera…but I’m going to make you wait to see it, sorry! He he! I love you guys!! Thank you so much–I can’t wait to capture the new big sis and the new baby in the fall, too! Aww, my sweet girl is growing up! Enjoy your sneakie peekies!

I just love birthday sessions. This little sweetie will be turning three in a few short weeks, and mom wanted to have a session to commemorate this special time in her daughter’s life. We had so much fun! I adored the outfits and accessories that mom came with, and this darling little girl just instinctively knew how to pose! Let me tell you–I am SO lucky to have the most amazing clients, from my smallest newbies, to precocious toddlers to expectant mommies. Don’t you think this little doll belongs in a catalog? I always like to suggest when doing children’s sessions that we go with both a classic look and a more funky and fun look. I love to capture every aspect of their full personalities. Thanks for a great session–it was so fun to meet you and your little explorer! I can’t wait to hear how much she enjoys her birthday tea party!
